I can't believe my babies turned 9 this year.  We decided to keep things on a smaller level this year since everyone was so busy.  I always like to make the kids' birthdays special by letting them choose what they want for their birthday dinner.  So for Kaylies birthday dinner (which we ate on the 27th) she choose omelets.  We also had hashbrowns and orange juice.  Rylie chose beef boates (we ate her dinner on the 28th)  We also celebrated by eating the bottom half of McKenzie's cake since it was so big.  The kids had so much fun blowing the candles on the cake we had to relight the candles 4 times.  Even Wyatt got in on the action.
On Saturday we had 9 of Kaylie and Rylies friends help us celebrate their birthday.  We played hot potato, telephone, freeze dance, twister and decorated and ate cupcakes.  They have some really great friends and we had a super fun time at the party.

This year we were hoping that since Easter was later in the year that we'd be able to avoid the rain.  But no such luck.  We celebrated Easter with Grandma and Grandpa Godfrey on Easter Saturday.  We enjoyed a delicious lunch and then Easter Egg hunting with all the cousins.  Wyatt thoroughly enjoyed hunting this year, and the girls were a great help with the eggs that were too high for him to reach.  Easter Sunday we spent with the Connellys.  We met at the park instead of at the cabin this year due to the rain but even so we still had a great time.  The kids loved spending time with cousins.
