Rich's Moose Hunt

So this year Rich drew a Once in a lifetime Moose tag. He's been gone the last 4 weekends scouting out this monster bull he wanted to shoot and was determined he wasn't coming home until he had this big animal in the back of his truck. He spent 4 days looking and looking and chasing this moose all over the mountainside until he finally came across him and shot him. I received a phone call bright and early at 7 am on Monday morning. He was so excited that he finally got "Jack Daniels." (This is the nickname they gave him because of the number 7 that is on the side of his horns. It's made from some of the velvet that hasn't fallen off yet.) It took him hours to get him skinned out and ready to come home. But Rich is thrilled to have this animal hanging on our wall in the future. They've scored him and think he will score somewhere between 141 and 147, which is huge for a Utah moose. Hoping that he makes it in the Boone and Crocket books.
