I am so proud of McKenzie. She competed in the Hershey track meet today with all the Fourth grades in the city. She ran the 50 Meter. She tied for first in the first heat which sent her to the semi-finals. In the semi-final she took first place. We thought she would go to the finals right? Wrong...they took the seven fastest times and they were the ones who competed in the final.
She did such an amazing job. I am so proud of her.
She also competed in the softball throw and did pretty well there too. She was supposed to compete in the standing long jump, but after running in the 50 meter she was so tired that she decided not to. She was pretty worn out by the end of the day.
