SheDaisy-Wax Museum

Today McKenzie had her wax museum assignment in school. She had to choose someone to learn about and then dress and act like a wax person. She choose to be Kelsi Marie Osborn-one of the singers from the Country group SheDaisy. She made a paper button you pushed and then she would recite what she learned about Kelsi. This is what she said:
"Hello have you ever sang in front of thousands of people? I'm Kelsi Marie Obsorn. I'm especially known for my singing, but let me tell you a little bit more about myself. I was born in Magna, Utah on November 21, 1974. In my youth I sold tickets to neighborhood shows. When I was 15 I started a band with my sisters. I loved singing in front of thousands of people. In my 20's I sang the Star Spangled Banner at Utah Jazz home games. You might find it interesting that I was married and had twin girls. I love to sing high harmony. That time of my life was a nice time. Thank you for pushing my button."

She also had to put together a brochure to hand out that gave information about the group SheDaisy and herself. She got together with a couple of girls from her class to form the group. It was quite the assignment but she surely had fun doing it.

Afterwards, the 4th grade sang a couple of songs about Utah and then did a square dance that they learned. It was a fun day for her.
